Okrug Donji is a tourist village on the island of Čiovo, 40 km away from Split, and connected to Trogir with a mobile bridge and with it forms a unique urban entity. It is very famous for its sandy beaches and shallow sea and is a suitable bathing area for children, whereas adults can enjoy the peace. The name krug (”circle”) was given because it is situated along the rounded inlet on the western part of the island.
