The well known Mrduja Regatta, in which began in 1927 is now held every year, and has obtained the status of being of one of the oldest in the Europe. This regatta is traditionally organized by the Labud Sailing Club.
It got its name from the islet of Mrduja, which is its turning point on the Split - Mrduja – Split course.
