The inhabitants of Vrlika have always tried to preserve their cultural heritage. They are proud of their traditional costume which is one of the most beautiful in Croatia and of their famous kolo (circle dance) – the Vrličko kolo. It is particular in that it is danced without music, and the choreography is based on the rhythm given by the dancers themselves.
