The Day of the holiday of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the sky is celebrated every year on August, 15. On that day, Sinj traditionally holds its greatest feast as they have been celebrating Our Lady since their victory over the Ottomans in 1715, having attributed it to Her miraculous intervention.
