A hurricane from the west drowned the last falkuša in Porat inlet on the island of Biševo.
This happened in 1986 on the night between the 25th and the 26th of August. Complete documentation is available for the construction of a replica of the falkuša, but this was only available after ten years of researching all sources of information. Falkuša was built over three and half months and was launched on St Nicholas day from Komiža's beach.
