In the field above Kaštel Novi, from time immemorial is cultivated vine. Of the old sorts like for e.g. kaštelanski crljenak, in the world and particularly in California better known as Zinfandel, there is not many remained. Homeland of that American vine is Kaštel Novi where a few grape-vines still groves in the Mr. Radunić vineyard. A few new vineyards of that grape-vine were planted while the grape-vine of the Kaštela’s Crljenak found its place also in the Bible Garden.
