Split hosts two rowing regattas in honour of Saint Domnius:
The Student regatta and the Legend race. The Student regatta is held on a 1000 metre-long race track at Spinut, whilst the Legend's race takes place in the city port on a 220 metre-long track.
In the student regatta, held on 9th May, Croatian and international rowers compete against each other amongst whom are crews from Oxford and Cambridge; The Legend race is a competition between Oxford and Cambridge legends and Croatian Olympic legends.
