Tučepi is a tourist village founded on foundations of the Roman rural house - villae rusticae, so it continued to develop in that sense for almost 4 milleniums. It is adorned by the longest beach of the Riviera of Makarska, almost 3 km long, a promenade surrounded by pine trees, clear sea and white, pebbled beaches. Podpeć, Čovići, Srida sela, Šimići and Podstup tučepski are hamlets known for the old olive-orchards and vineyards, culinary specialities and beautiful view.
