Seafood specialities and other dishes of the area are excellent served with wines produced by local wine producers. For the wine paths, we would only recommend the finest wine producers. Cellars and taverns are connected by paths going through figs and olive plantations whilst Hvar wines are plentiful, strong, extracted, and easily smooth to taste, with a dark garnet red colour and a specific aroma and bouquet. This sunny and sharp island offers ideal preconditions for the growth of local vine species plavac mali, in limited localities of Hvar’s vineyards.
