Slatine are a little fishing villages located on the north-east part of the island of Čiovo. The healthy ecologically cultivated vegetables, the virgin olive oil, home-made wine, dried figs, bajami (almonds), fresh fish fished by fishermen from Slatina, are an everyday scenario of this town. The little porat (port) with berths for about 50 boats, the children's play area for football or basket ball… pizzeria, restaurants and taverns with fish specialities and home-produced wine, complete the idyllic picture.
