Small Karstic fields in stone area and cracks in limestone are the things of everyday occurrence in lives of Brač labourers. Mediterranean climate characterized by mild winters is favourable for growth of many plants. Rosemary, blackberry, caper, agaves, strawberry-tree, heather and asparagus are some of the aromatic wild growth plants of that climate used in households. Agrotourism is relatively new offer but it is supposed that will fast develop due to a great interest of tourists for this kind of holiday.
