The fort, built on a sea rock in the 16th century is at the end of the bay of Marina. It was built by clerks on a small island, and the channel was filled with earth in the last century.
In this authentic environment of a renaissance villa, today stands a hotel, and within the fortress is the little Church of St. John Ivana.
