Once famous Glagolitic desert from 16th century, later the astronomical observatory is situated on the eastern slope of the valley, between Bol and Milna on the southern part of the island of Brač and is an unique monument of our littoral. Built on a sharp and high cliff is some 3,5 km far away from the sea.
