Stanići is an old fishing village some 300 m away from the sea and only 4 km from Omiš. In the 1960s, thanks to the construction of the Adriatic Highway it quickly developed. The new village was built near to the seashore, along the beautiful pebble beaches and tourism and catering are its main activities.
