The village of Kokorići in the Vrgorac municipality lies under Mount Relić and is a typical Dalmatian village. The stone houses and its historical and cultural heritage have turned this lovely village into an ethnographic village. The Dalmatian gastronomy and the well-preserved ethnographic exhibition held in the rooms of the old wine-cellar represent the gruelling life our elders once lived. The wine cellar presents the principal meeting place for the local people. Wine, grappa and prošek were produced and tasted here. Kokorići is also a rich hunting area, especially around mount Rilić and the Bunina plain. You will not be short of entertainment here - šijavica (the game of morra in Italian), bowling, kamena s ramena (throwing a stone from the shoulder) and the tug-of-war are old games which are full of fun and competitive spirit.
