Zadvarje are the gates or dveri (Duare) of the coastal areaand of river Cetina. They are located above the incision under which the Gubavica waterfallroars. In the 16th century, the Ottomans enlarged the existing fortress, establishing control over Dubci and Cetina. From the centre of Zadvarje you can go to the water chamber, and then by obtaining a permit you can see the administrative building and then just 10 minutes away reach the Murat fortress.
